Ned howled into the night with his son, Jojo, standing next to him with his arms crossed. He was looking up at his werewolf-dad with a slight smile as he took in the echo of his recent howl towards the observatory. Jojo inhaled the night time air before saying anything.
"Not bad! I think you need to work on how you end it though; you just stopped it - kind of rushing it."
Ned looked at his feet, knowing Jojo was better at howling than anybody. (Especially him.) He was a werewolf, but had only gotten used to it from the day before. When Ned was first transformed, he was depressed and very reluctant to show his face around Whoville, but after one night of Jojo teaching him how to howl, things had gotten better for him. Since Jojo was quite comfortable howling at the moon for fun, it was easy to demonstrate it for his father.
"Thanks. I don't really think Nelly can hear us though. Do you think she's too far away or just isn't awake?" They had been trying to get
